Almost Merry Christmas!
Christmas is a time for the family to get together, for a kiss under the mistletoe (or anywhere Christmas-ish), for Santa Claus and gifts, for Christmas carols, for that Christmas spirit of giving and loving, for Christmas bonus and not to forget the Christmas shopping.
I remembered my Christmas a year ago, when I accompanied my Mommy in the supermarket.
Ira: Mommy bili naman tayo ng hamon, para madama natin ang tunay na diwa ng Pasko
Mommy: Naku wag na, wala namang ulirat ang Pasko
Truly 'Christmas' is unconscious about all these bloat. I can't get off deeming that Christmas is more commercialized than empathized.
No, I'm not blaming the holiday or the structure of society that brought the idea of the holiday for my usual empty wallet and the hungrier children on the streets because of the inflated prices during Christmas. Ain't Christmas is the season for giving eh?
Nonetheless, I love Christmas!
